Manchester United are back at Carrington to continue their training ahead of their best game on Wednesday night. The Red Devils' preparation has been back to a normal routine with different sets of training plans and sessions in place to help them get in shape for the game.
Star player Casemiro has reportedly returned back to the Carrington training facility to join up with the preparation for the West Ham game in the FA Cup tomorrow. The Brazilian has been very important to Manchester United's successful run under Erik Ten Hag.
Last night, Casemiro's exploit was finally crowned on the European scene with a personal award to recognize him as one of the best players in the world. The midfielder star was named in the FIFPRO best IX for the first team in his career and he gladly accepted the award.
His personal win at the FIFA award ceremony came exactly 24 hours after he fired Manchester United to their first club title in six years. The Brazilian scored in the 2-0 Carabao Cup final win over Newcastle United at Wembley. It was his first title since joining Manchester United in the summer.
There were several top football dignitaries and personalities at the FIFA The Best award ceremony. Lionel Messi was crowned the best player in the world, with his Argentina head coach and goalkeeping teammate, Emi Martinez winning the Best Coach and Goalkeeper awards.
