The situation at Old Trafford appears to be complicated once again, and it seems that Manchester United is in the midst of a serious issue regarding allegations against Antony. According to official reports, the Brazilian player has been accused of sexual assault by his ex-partner and two other women.
In response to these allegations, the midfielder came forward to share his version of events on a Brazilian TV program. However, despite Manchester United initially issuing a statement on the matter, it appears that the situation has not subsided, and the club intends to take action.
It's worth noting that a similar situation occurred with Mason Greenwood, who, after 1.5 years of uncertainty, mutually agreed with the club not to play for the Red Devils anymore at the age of 21.
Given this context, despite a neutral stance for now, it seems that United has made a decision regarding Antony.
According to the official club statement from Man Utd.com, the player will be absent from the team starting Monday to address his situation.
