David de Gea is one of the most succesful goalkeepers in the history of Manchester United. Since he joined the club in 2011, he managed to position himself as the starting goalkeeper backed by respected figures like Sir Alex Ferguson.

His first seasons represented a challenge for him as a young keeper coming from Atletico de Madrid. His inexperience was evident in a tough scenario like the Premier League. Despite criticism, De Gea received cheers at Old Trafford through the years.

After 12 seasons, the Spanish goalkeeper left the club with multiple records and trophies including 1 Premier League, 2 FA Cups, 3 Community Shields and 1 Europa League. Therefore, a new challenge awaits for David de Gea with some teams showing interest.

According to various sources, Bayern Munich is considering on bringing in a new keeper. On one hand, De Gea wants to go to the Bundesliga, while on the other hand, Tomas Tuchel's first option seems to be Manchester City Stefan Ortega. The 32 year-old keeper is waiting for an offer that could be of benefit for him, allowing him to continue playing at a higher level in a respected European League.

An offer from Saudi Arabia is on the table

In recent times, the Saudi League has become attractive to players due to its high salaries. Some figures like Sadio Mane, Cristiano Ronaldo, Neymar, among others are some of the names that have chosen Saudi Arabia as his next destiny. Reports from sources like Marca suggest that Al Nassr might be interested in signing De Gea. If this results to be the case, the Spanish would reunite with Cristiano Ronaldo, his teammate from last season in United. In conclusion, David de Gea has until the transfer window closes on September 20th to decide his future.
