Erik Ten Hag is still looking for ways to sell his players before the start of the Premier League. With Manchester United's pre-season already underway, the manager has to hurry to get rid of players who do not fit in his plans so that he can make room for new reinforcements.

It has already been announced that Alex Telles and Tahith Chong would be leaving the club permanently; after spending a few seasons with United and not being what the team wanted, Ten Hag has decided not to count on the players for the future project, so the Brazilian was sold to Al-Nassr where Cristiano Ronaldo plays and the Dutchman to Luton Town, this benefits the Red Devils financially as the budget for this season is much reduced to previous years.

Another player who is about to leave the club is midfielder Fred, who has not performed at the expected level since his arrival in 2018, although Ten Hag has called him up for pre-season and the US tour, the coach has also decided to sell him before the start of the Premier League. This in order to be able to bring in the new reinforcements that the club already has in mind.

Although Ten Hag likes to have several players in the same position so that he can have depth on the pitch, he also considers that there are some players who need to leave because they are not performing well, and that this is the club's last chance to sell them for a financial gain.

Fred value

Manchester United want to sell the Brazilian midfielder, during the last few weeks there have been rumours of teams that would be interested in the player who in 2018 cost the team 59 million euros, now his value is only 20 million, so the club urgently needs to sell him before they have to let him go for free; Fulham and Saudi Arabian clubs are willing to pay his value.
