Manchester United still can't resolve the issue of Harry Maguire, the manager has shown interest in selling him since the transfer window started, yet due to his value not many teams have shown any interest in signing him, so the club hopes to have a solution as soon as possible.

However, while Maguire is still at the club, there are several young players who for various reasons have had to say goodbye to the team, although this seems strange, because Ten Hag has always been very open to give opportunities to the stars of the academy, but there are times when players need a new team to develop their level of play and get more experience.

In fact, during the first game of pre-season Ten Hag was using most of the available youngsters, with the occasional starter, which speaks to the manager's commitment to developing new talent and the opportunities he can give them on the pitch.

However, not all cases are the same, for that reason Tahith Chong had to end his time with Manchester United, a team he was with since 2017 and went through the youth ranks, but was never able to consolidate to have more opportunities in the team, so it is a pity not to see more of this young player.

Tahith Chong deal

The right winger originally from Holland, was transferred to Luton Town on a permanent basis, after spending a loan spell at Birmingham, the manager had to sell Chong for £4m and although Manchester United do not have full sporting rights to the player, they will receive £1m for his transfer.
