Arrived for £4 million, had no place at United and now Ten Hag would sell him for £18 million

Manchester United must continue with the idea of being able to sell players, during this transfer window, none of the 13 players the manager plans to sell have left; the club needs to increase its budget if it is to continue to strengthen with new signings. 

Erik Ten Hag has made it clear which players he no longer plans to continue with, during this summer the manager is looking to get rid of as many players as possible, his plan for the future is to keep the players that will help him win titles. In addition to that, on the transfer list, there are players who have not been able to perform at the level expected by the club and whose contract is ending soon so there is an urgency to sell them in this market. 

One of those players who has already been alerted by the coaching staff is Anthony Elanga, the left winger has been at the club since the academy, however, has not been able to consolidate since his debut with coach Ole Gunner Solsjkaer, now with Ten Hag his playing time would be even more reduced, so a new team could help boost his career. 

Nottingham Forest have reportedly made the signing of Anthony Elanga official, the Swedish striker's transfer was worth around £18 million, so Ten Hag let yet another player leave this summer. There is no doubt that, although United give plenty of opportunities to their young players, it is difficult for all of them to make the leap in quality that would allow them to stay in the first team.
