Now that Manchester United are negotiating with Real Madrid and Casemiro, it is being reported that they are also looking for other attacking players while some representatives are in Madrid in order to close the deal of the 30-year-old Brazilian midfielder. As they reach closer to an agreement with the Merengues, a new name has been linked with the club.

Today, Jason Burt and Mike McGrath from The Daily Telegraph, reported that Manchester United are considering making a move for Atlético de Madrid Yannick-Ferreira Carrasco while some of the club’s representatives are in Madrid. Burt and McGrath also claim that the Belgium forward would be allowed to leave for £25.5 million.

However, this would not mean that the Red Devils’ pursuit of Antony and Christian Pulisic has come to an end. The club is exploring different options as the days go by and will try to sign whoever is of the liking of Erik ten Hag. Antony remains the manager’s first choice but Ajax asks for too much money, Pulisic would only be considered if he comes as a loan.

A great alternative

The Daily Telegraph understands that the 28-year-old winger is considered a serious target for the English giants who are looking for polyvalent attackers that can play in different positions of the front line. Carrasco not only can play on both wings and score goals, but he has evolved in recent years into a player who gives the defensive line a hand thanks to his manager Diego Simeone.
