Erik Ten Hag is on the hunt for his third signing, hoping that he can join the club before the start of the Premier League, and as the team prepares for the final game of the tour of the United States, the board are in negotiations for Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat, who Manchester United have been interested in for weeks.
As we know, the club has made only two moves so far this summer, the acquisition of Mason Mount earlier this month and the signing of André Onana last week, yet the Red Devils are hoping to solidify one more signing over the next few days; Amrabat and Hojlund have been touted as possible signings.
The signing of the Moroccan looks a little easier, as, according to reports close to the player, he has shown a lot of interest in joining Ten Hag's project, besides that he did not travel with Fiorentina for pre-season, so he is training separately, this can only indicate that it is a matter of time for his signing to become official.
Manchester United will now have to wait for a response from the Italian side, in line with the latest offer that was made, in the hope that it will be accepted and then start negotiating with the midfielder on personal terms, to be presented before the first game of the season against Wolves.
Sofyan Amrabat Deal
Manchester United are involved in negotiations for the Moroccan midfielder, the club hopes he can become their third signing of the summer and thus further strengthen their midfield; the offer the Red Devils have put on the table is £30m plus variables, a price too fair to the value Fiorentina put on
from the outset.
