Altay Bayindir has signed contract, here the salary of Manchester United's new goalkeeper

The Manchester United board still has at least a couple of moves to make, as the manager has made it clear that two more positions need to be reinforced before the transfer window closes, which is only a matter of hours away, so the team will have a busy day trying to sign the targets they have in their sights. 

Since the beginning of the summer, goalkeeping was one of the main positions that Ten Hag wanted to reinforce at any cost, as we remember he decided to let David de Gea go after 12 years in the Red Devils' jersey and all this because he has a new plan for the future of the team, for that reason he opted to bring in André Onana, with whom he had already had a close relationship since they were together at Ajax.

However, a first-choice goalkeeper was not enough for the Dutch coach, because from the first moment he commented that he was thinking of bringing in a substitute goalkeeper, whose role would be to have minutes in the "less relevant" games to give Onana a rest in a season that will be long and full of games for all the competitions that United will have to play. 

Because of that, Altay Bayindir was chosen as the preferred option to cover that position, since more than a month ago there had already been talk about the possibility of signing him, but the club was interested in covering other positions, so the Turkish goalkeeper was left until these days.

During the last week, Altay Bayindir flew to Manchester for medical examinations in the facilities of the Red Devils, and then returned to Turkey and said goodbye to Fernerbahce who already knew of his imminent departure; so the Manchester United board offered about €4.2 million for his final transfer, in addition to offering about £900,000 salary per year, which already signed in order to make his transfer official.
