Erik ten Hag is set to let Harry Maguire leave the team in this transfer window, but the fact is that the defender could have some other idea in mind as well.
Since the start of the transfer window it has been reported that Erik ten Hag wanted to make sure that Harry Maguire was not a part of the red devils squad for the next season, and while it seems that the manager had the offers and the proposals to get rid of the defender, things could be ready to change now that the player himself has some other ideas.
The fact is that the red devils could be more than ready to let Harry Maguire leave the team, but the fact is also that they have rejected an offer from the West Ham team that included a transfer fee price of 25 million euros, but from the Manchester United office they believe that they should at least get 40 million euros for the player.
With the latest rejected offer, sources really close to Harry Maguire have confirmed that the defender is ready to work extra hours to make sure that he is going to stay with the red devils for the next season, and while it seems that is going to be hard for it to happen, the truth is that the defender is ready to give it one last go.
The main idea why Harry Maguire would like to stay with Manchester United has always been the salary that the player currently gets with the red devils, the 13 millon euros per year would be affected almost by half if he leaves to any other team, and on the other hand it seems that Erik ten Hag is still ready to let him go.
