The saga over the sale of Manchester United continues to have no end in sight, the glazers have yet to make a decision on the offer from each of the candidates, and while that happens, fans are still waiting for an early resolution that could put a different spin on the club's current situation.

Sheikh Jassim is one of the main candidates to take over the team, during the last few weeks he and his Qatari group have had a lot of confidence around his offer, according to reports close to Qatar, his proposal has had a favourable reception, although divided because his idea is to take full control of the team and that is something that the glazers would not agree with.

Even so, the $6 billion he would have put on the table, plus funding to pay off United's debts, sign new players and refurbish the club's facilities, would have to be enough for the American family to hand over power to the Qatari group, who would also have been keeping a close eye on the start of United's pre-season training camp.

Sheikh Jassim would be looking for a decision to be made soon, as he believes that, by becoming the club's new owner, he could return the glory that has characterised the Red Devils, and his vision and financial clout could pave the way for him to do so.

How would United's good start influence Sheikh Jassim's decision?

As we already know the Qatari Sheikh is very interested in becoming the next owner of Manchester United, for that reason he would be very attentive to what happens on the pitch, as he would need to know the needs of the team, for that reason the good start of Ten Hag in the preseason can be very helpful for the interest of Sheikh Jassim to remain intact.
