Manchester United and Erik Ten Hag is still looking at ways to sell some players in this transfer window, the main reasons for this decision are firstly to make room in the budget, which would make it possible to sign more players and secondly that they would no longer fit into the plans that the coach has in mind for the club.

For this reason, at the beginning of the summer, Ten Hag would have given the list of players who are transferable, and during the last few weeks he has made them known one by one, with the intention of looking for the best deal that suits both parties.

One of those players who has already been informed is Scott McTominay, the Scottish midfielder, who has been with the club for 6 seasons and has a contract until 2025, however, due to his performance, as well as not being part of the coach's plans, he has his time at the club counted, according to some reports his departure could happen in the next few days.

As Roma and Brighton are some of the options that have the Scotland international; United have informed the interested teams of the 25 million pounds they are willing to accept for McTominay; given this, Ten Hag is already looking for alternatives in the defensive midfield to replace the player.

During the 6 seasons with the Red Devils, the midfielder has not been able to consolidate or as a replacement option for the coach, his 12 goals, 3 assists and 9,000 minutes, have not been enough for Ten Hag to decide to keep him until the end of his contract, so the club prefers to sell him before and get an economic benefit.
