Erik Ten Hag still has a lot of work to do ahead of the start of the Premier League, the team would need to sell some players to have enough space either in the squad or in the budget, to continue signing the players that the coach is still looking for, for that reason the urgency on the part of the board to try to transfer most of the players who are on the transferable list.
Much has been said about the players who no longer have a place in the team, either because they do not fit in the coach's plans or because the club is looking for an economic benefit as their contracts are coming to an end, whatever the reason, what is clear is that Ten Hag is looking for a total renewal and during his first year he has shown that he does not tempt his heart when it comes to letting a player go.
The clearest examples are Cristiano Ronaldo and David de Gea, both players were legends of the team and many fans expected them to retire at Old Trafford, however, for different reasons, both left the club surprisingly, with a clear message from the manager that neither player was indispensable.
So now the departure of Donny van de Beek looks increasingly close, as he has not had much opportunity during the preseason and that is a clear indication that he will not see many minutes of play during the year, so United would already be looking for options for the midfielder to have the opportunity he would be looking for.
The Dutch midfielder would be living his last moments with Manchester United, because according to some reports, the Spanish club would be very interested in making possible his transfer, paying the 13 million euros that he has as value, so in the coming days an official offer would be presented.
