Since the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Real Madrid in 2009, Manchester United have had one glaring issue. The right wing. The right-wing position has been filled by over a dozen players since CR7 left the football club the first time, yet Manchester United have not found a permanent solution. They had hope with Adnan Januzaj breaking through the ranks but that ended quickly, and the biggest letdowns of all have been the performances of Jadon Sancho and Antony.

Manchester United spent over 150 million pounds on the two players but neither have shown their quality and Sancho is now on loan to the club United bought him from. Meanwhile Antony has been benched for Garnacho who is primarily a left winger. It has now become a cursed position at the football club.

United now set their sights on the transfer market once again to fix the rw issue and the name that is being most talked about is Michael Olise. The young French winger has been linked with multiple Premier League clubs including United, Chelsea, and in the summer Manchester City. There have been different prices and potential deals reported surrounding Olise but there is now a new one that came out today.

Mark Ogden of ESPN has reported that a swap deal of Aaron Wan- Bissaka and cash for Michael Olise is a real possibility. Aaron Wan-Bissaka has history with Crystal Palace as that is the club Manchester United bought him from back in the summer of 2019. A reunion is something that the club would welcome, and with Wan -Bissaka contract set to end in 2025 it would help Manchester United get something in return.

The race for Olise will be tough for Manchester United to win as the difficulty of signing Olise has increased since the summer. He has a new undisclosed release clause that is much higher than the 35 million pound one he had in the summer. Also as previously mentioned there is major competition for the player as all the big clubs in England are lurking around to sign the player.
