Former Manchester United striker Louis Saha has called for the club to bring Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford. The Frenchman, who is currently a free agent after leaving Juventus, has been linked with a return to the Premier League.

In a recent interview, Saha expressed his admiration for Pogba and believes that the midfielder would be a valuable asset to the Manchester United squad. "If Paul Pogba is available, believe me, I would love to see him back at United right now. He’s that good," Saha said. "When he’s fit and firing, he can walk into the Manchester United team and become one of the best players pretty quickly."

A Match Made in Heaven

Saha believes that Pogba's skillset would be a perfect fit for Rúben Amorim's style of play. The Frenchman's ability to dictate the tempo of a game, combined with his creativity and eye for a goal, would make him a formidable asset for any team.

"There are a handful of players that really excite me. Amad excites me. Neymar excites me. Pogba excites me. There are only a handful of players in this world that can do what Paul Pogba can do. It’s as simple as that, and that’s why I would love for him to write another chapter with Manchester United," Saha added.

A Risky Gamble?

While Saha is eager to see Pogba return to Old Trafford, there are some who believe that the move could be a risky one. Pogba's first spell at United was often overshadowed by inconsistency and injury problems. Additionally, the club would need to pay a significant salary to secure his services.

However, Saha believes that Pogba has matured as a player and that he is ready to make a significant impact at Old Trafford. "I think he’s learned a lot from his time at Juventus," Saha said. "He’s a more mature player now and I think he would be a great asset for the club."

A Popular Choice

Saha's comments are likely to be welcomed by Manchester United fans, many of whom still hold fond memories of Pogba's time at the club. The Frenchman's ability to excite the crowd and create something out of nothing made him a fan favorite during his first spell at Old Trafford.
