Casemiro sets off alarm for Man United and Ten Hag gives an update on his injury
Manchester United and Sir Jim Ratcliffe are aware that the team does need to sign new players, especially now that they are looking for players that could play on a game to game basis in the next part of the season. The injuries have been a concern for the team and one of the main alarms for the new office that is definitely looking to change that this next months.
On top of the injuries it has also been reported that the INEOS office is looking to get rid of players that earn more than 300,000 euros per week, and this includes Raphael Varane as one of the highest paid players on the team. The french defender is also aware that he could lose a lot of playing time in the next seasons, as he is ready to leave now.
One of the main targets for the red devils is a new center back that could become a starter right away, and Alessandro Bastoni could be ideal for that role. The 25 year old center back has been able to show his potential in the Inter Milan team, and he seems to be ready to face an even bigger challenge.
Alessandro Bastoni is one of the most wanted defenders in the summer transfer window, as there has been a lot of interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and even Real Madrid to sign him. The red devils office is aware of all of this interest and this could force them to send the first offer in the next weeks as this could help them secure his arrival in the next transfer window.
