Manchester United new office is looking to make some changes to the team in the next part of the season, and the current results for the team could be key to decide the future of Ten Hag as the manager. The main goal for the red devils is still the same, they are looking to reach the Champions League spots for the next season and this could decide the future.
“Arteta would leave Arsenal to come to Man United, 100 per cent,” Rio Ferdinand said on Arteta, that he currently manages the Arsenal team and he seems to have little to no intetion of leaving. On the other hand the red devils new office has shown that they have the influence to change that, just like they did with Omar Berrada and the Man City team in the last months.
Ferdinand then added, “No-one is saying it’s happening, but if Man United, in their wildest dreams, said ‘do you know what, Erik ten Hag, thank you’," as he believes that this move could actually happen. One of the main concerns for the red devils is that they are waiting for the new sporting director to make any decision this weeks.
"Erik ten Hag has been poached by Bayern Munich and he goes there, and Man United say ‘right, top of our list, Mikel Arteta’, Arteta is going in [to Arsenal] and saying ‘listen lads, it’s been emotional, but I’ve got to move and got to go’.” Ferdinand ended. Most of the fans actually reacted with hope on social media, showing that Arteta could be welcomed at the red devils project.

Most of the sources do believe that Erik ten Hag is still looking to keep his job with the red devils, but the results that the team gets in the next months could actually be key to decide that as well as the new sporting director.
