The red devils are still set to lose André Onana for the next month of competition, and the fact is that the team is not happy with that situation.
Manchester United manager is definitely not happy about the fact that the red devils are going to lose André Onana for the AFCON, and despite the efforts from the keeper to stay until the game against Tottenham that would take place this next Saturday 14 of January, the fact is that the red devils might be looking to change their keeper in the next few months.
“I think re-signing David de Gea would be a really smart move. I don’t think it will happen though as it would rub salt in the wounds of the manager who let him go." Dwight Yorke started, and the fact is that now the red devils might have the need to go ahead and sign the spanish keeper back to the team, now that he is still without a team in the current season.
Yorke added, "My question is what is the point of having a number two at the club? They’ve done it with Dean Henderson and there’s a reason why there’s a number two at the club. You’ve got to give these guys an opportunity to trust them. They’re training every day and trying to be elite" and that could be the case for Bayindir as well.
"They have their current keeper Altay Bayindir on the bench and he never gets a chance. This is what I don’t understand and he may as well not be there! It just doesn’t make any sense and it’s beyond me how the manager can think that way.” Yorke ended on the situation of the keepers at the team and the idea to bring back De Gea.
It has been confirmed that Erik ten Hag likes to give every single chance to André Onana, but the fact is that the manager is not happy with his decision to go to the AFCON and that could change the relationship between them this next months.
