Manchester United will be looking to build on their midweek victory over Southampton when they host Brighton & Hove Albion at Old Trafford on Sunday. Rúben Amorim's side secured a thrilling 3-1 win against the Saints but will face a much tougher challenge against the Seagulls, who are currently sitting comfortably in mid-table.
The Red Devils' victory over Southampton was a much-needed three points, but the performance left a lot to be desired. Amad Diallo's late hat-trick papered over the cracks of a disjointed display. Amorim will be keen to see a much-improved performance from his team against Brighton.
Brighton have been one of the surprise packages of the season so far. The Seagulls have been playing some attractive football and have climbed up the table into the top half. Their recent form has been impressive, with the team unbeaten since December.
Manchester United: Onana; de Ligt, Maguire, Martínez; Mazraoui, Ugarte, Fernandes, Dalot; Diallo, Garnacho; Hojlund
Brighton: Verbruggen; Veltman, van Hecke, Dunk, Estupiñan; Ayari, Baleba; Minteh, Rutter, Mitoma; Joao Pedro.
The Manchester United and Brighton game kicks off at 2pm GMT at the Theatre of Dreams.
Unfortunately for fans in the UK, the match between Manchester United and Brighton will not be televised live. Everton vs. Tottenham Hotspur has been selected for live coverage. However, radio coverage will be available on BBC Radio 5 Live.
Manchester United's match against Brighton is shaping up to be a fascinating encounter. Both teams have their strengths, and it promises to be an entertaining game. With the Red Devils looking to build on their recent victory and Brighton aiming to continue their impressive form, this is a match that neither team will want to lose.
