Speaking on his podcast, Neville suggested that the club could be set for a significant squad overhaul, with rumors swirling around the futures of star players Marcus Rashford and Alejandro Garnacho.
"There's been news in the last 24 hours that there are offers coming in for Garnacho," Neville said. "There's been news about Rashford potentially going on loan or to another club, and honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if Ruben Amorim had to make these kinds of big decisions. I don't think he has anything to lose. It's going to be a very important transfer window. It might not be as big as we think, but if Garnacho and Rashford go, those would be big sales. I wouldn't be surprised to see a bit of a clear-out and one or two players coming in."
Neville's comments come amid growing speculation about the futures of both Rashford and Garnacho. Rashford has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford after a disappointing season, while Garnacho has attracted interest from several top European clubs.
Neville's suggestion of a potential squad overhaul reflects the uncertainty surrounding Manchester United at present. The club has struggled to find consistency under Rùben Amorim, and there is a growing sense that a significant overhaul may be needed.
A summer overhaul could have a significant impact on Manchester United's future. On the one hand, it could provide the club with an opportunity to rebuild and rejuvenate the squad. On the other hand, it could also create instability and disrupt the team's progress.
The coming months will be crucial for Manchester United. The club must make some tough decisions about the future of the squad, and the transfer market will play a key role in shaping the team's fortunes.
